A wild night here in Alabama last night, and we had a tornado touch down not far from us. I knew yesterday was tornado weather. I lay awake half the night listening to the rain and thunder. When I got up at 7:30 a.m. it was 60˚F and raining. Now we have a "wintry mix," and it's 36˚F, with the windchill at 28˚F. A little farther north, I think there's some actual snow-type snow.

It's going to be a weird weather day here. Currently, it's 55˚F, but the temperature is going to be dropping all day, until we hit our low of 12˚F tonight. The clouds are very slowly braking up. It was 61˚F when I woke, and now it's only 60˚F. Given our forecast high is 61˚F, I can only assume we've already seen the warmest part of the day.
